Pequrel
Performance, Quality, Reliability
We are bringing conventional agricultural systems, human-centered infrastructure and new IoT technologies together for complete visibility and automation, helping small and marginal farmers increase their profitability, decrease food wastage, and build climate resilience in food production systems.
We develop technologies and services that provide consistent local support through multiple seasons (e.g., sowing, growing, post-harvest processing) for smallholder farms and farming cooperative structures to address their scale, cost, and other constraints.
Advanced Adaptable Agricultural System (A3S)
Explore the service-based, smallholder-accessible growing and drying smart greenhouse infrastructure, co-developed by Pequrel, Stanford University, and Deshpande Foundation.
Why Pequrel
We are individually and collectively committed to putting these values into practice to make a measurable impact on small and marginal farmers and thrive as an organization.
Value-driven
We are value-driven and work with the customer to maximize their profits. As a result, we are constantly improving our offerings.
Under one roof
A3S can be used to grow seedlings and dry harvests under one roof.
Improved incomes
With A3S, a chili-producing farmer can achieve a 22% increase in revenue and a green gram farmer, a 38% increase from quality enhancement alone. With A3S seedlings up to an 80% increase in the yield has been observed compared to nursery-grown seedlings.
Business model
FPOs or any farming community can own A3S to provide services to the small and marginal farmers who need help investing in extensive infrastructure for their small produce. Individual ownership for large entities is also possible.
